Legal Aid Demo at Parliament – 22nd May 2013

Below are some photos taken at today’s Legal Aid Demonstration at Parliament. The demonstration was to protest against the Ministry of Justice’s proposals to introduce price competitive tendering for criminal legal aid work, and to protect the public’s right to have a solicitor of their choice. These proposals will have devastating consequences.
